Netmail Archive 6.1.x
When trying to remove a storage location from NetGovern Archive administration console, a pop-up with the message “Failed to check if location has legal hold accounts” is presented.
As a security measure the system will never delete a storage location where at least one account has been placed under Legal Hold. If the Master Archive server is not able to read the audit location and confirm that no account is still in this state, this message will show up. The entire purpose is to let the Administrator know that the check was not completed and extra careful should be taken into consideration. If an account is under Legal Hold and the system is actually able to connect and verify, the message upon deletion attempt looks as follows:
